Polish Karate Championships award bronzes to Dorian Skiba and Jakub Borowczyk

Dorian Skiba of the Kolbuszowski Karate Club secured a bronze medal in the J16 (65‑70 kg) kumite division at the Polish Shinkyokushinkai Karate Championships held in Kobylnica on 6 June 2026. The tournament featured around 200 top athletes from 50 clubs and served as a direct qualifier for the European Championships in Riga.

Jakub Borowczyk of the Pleszew Karate Club also earned a bronze medal, finishing third in the youth kumite –75 kg category at the Polish Karate Championships in Gronowo on 6‑7 June 2026. The event attracted 518 competitors representing 72 clubs nationwide. In his semi‑finals he lost 1:6 before winning the bronze‑medal repêchage 5:0.

Both athletes highlighted the discipline and respect inherent in their style, with the Kolbuszowski team noting “Osu!” as a rallying call after Skiba’s performance.
