Polish labor offices launch unemployment support programs

Labor offices in Białystok and Koszalin are launching initiatives to support unemployed individuals through training vouchers and business startup grants.

In Białystok, the District Labor Office is offering training vouchers for unemployed persons under 30. The program, supervised by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy, has a limited capacity of 17 participants. Applications are accepted from August 17 to August 31, 2026, and selected training must be completed by November 15 of the current year. Candidates must provide proof of employment intent or plans to start a business to qualify.

In Koszalin, the District Labor Office has secured additional funds from the Labor Fund and the European Social Fund Plus. These resources are designated for subsidies to start businesses and for reimbursing costs related to equipping or upgrading workstations. Priority is given to individuals with low qualifications, residents of the Koszalin district, women, and people under 30. The maximum funding amount is 30,000 PLN, and applications will be processed until the available funds are exhausted.
