Polish leaders address European security and geopolitical shifts
Polish leadership and international experts are addressing critical geopolitical shifts through high-level summits. At the GZERO Summit in London, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski emphasized that increased European responsibility for its own security should complement, rather than diminish, the role of the United States in NATO.
Sikorski also highlighted the ongoing hybrid warfare conducted by Russia, noting its impact on the free world and the necessity of supporting a resilient Ukraine to ensure European stability. He warned of potential escalations in Russian military tactics and the rising importance of middle powers in the current geopolitical landscape.
In Sopot, the upcoming 15th edition of the EFNI Forum will focus on themes including 'Our New World' and 'Our New Europe.' The event will host Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk alongside various ministers to discuss the role of Europe amidst competition between the USA, China, and Russia, as well as the reconstruction of Ukraine and the impact of AI and energy security.
