Polish libraries host free summer literary events in Elbląg and Warsaw

The Elbląg Public Library will hold a free evening with crime novelist Przemysław Kowalewski on August 1 at 18:00, letting readers discuss his works set in Szczecin and ask questions about his creative process. The event is part of the regional #czytELnia reading promotion organized by the Warmian‑Masurian Voivodeship.

On August 4, the Nautilus Library will host a Bullerbyn‑themed creative holiday for children, featuring film screenings, eco‑art workshops using natural materials, and free participation. The programme aims to spark imagination and foster a connection with nature.

Both events are offered at no cost and are intended to encourage reading and cultural activity during the summer.
