Polish libraries implement new educational and AI-driven programs for youth

Polish libraries are implementing diverse educational and technological initiatives for children and youth. In Warsaw, the Nautilus Library hosted the ‘Summer in the City 2026’ program, which combined science and entertainment. Activities included detective-themed logic exercises, lessons on the history of Polish State Railways, commemorations of the Warsaw Uprising, and explorations of communication history through the centenary of Polish Radio.

In Lublin, the Hieronim Łopaciński Provincial Public Library conducted professional training for librarians focused on modern reading animation. Part of the ‘Librarian 360’ project funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the workshop explored the use of artificial intelligence in creating educational materials, quizzes, and lesson plans. The training emphasized the ethical and safe use of AI tools when working with minors.
