Polish libraries introduce new educational programs and technology-driven events
Educational and cultural institutions in Poland are expanding their offerings to integrate modern technology with traditional literacy. The Pedagogical Library in Nowy Targ has announced its educational program for the 2026/2027 school year, focusing on a diverse curriculum for students. The program includes topics such as mental and physical health, digital hygiene, internet safety, and career counseling, alongside regional history and literature.
To engage students, the library will utilize interactive tools including coding mats, Photon robots, multimedia screens, and kamishibai theater.
In Elbląg, the Warmian-Masurian Pedagogical Library hosted ‘Library Night 2026,’ an event designed to showcase the modern library as a space for innovation. The program featured an author meeting with Mariola Pryzwan regarding her book on the singer Dalida, as well as hands-on workshops and virtual reality experiences using VR goggles to blend literature with new technologies.
