Polish libraries roll out summer workshops and literary escape rooms for children

The Elbląg Library has organized a month‑long series of creative workshops for children throughout July and August. Each session, held at noon, is themed around a different book and craft activity – ranging from “Czary‑mary!” on July 1 to “Morski jednorożec” on August 26 – and aims to develop imagination, manual skills and a love of reading.

In the town of Skawina, the Municipal Public Library is offering a literary‑themed escape‑room experience for families. The event is scheduled for two days, July 26 and August 23 2026, and invites participants to solve puzzles inspired by classic detective novels. Registration is required due to limited places.
