Polish listed companies report mixed financial results

Several Polish listed companies have reported divergent financial results for the first half of 2026. FO Dębica saw a decline in net profit, falling from 82.5 million PLN to 57.4 million PLN, while revenues dropped to 1,390.3 million PLN. Similarly, JSW reported a significant net loss of approximately 1 billion PLN and an EBITDA loss of 236.5 million PLN, leading to a nearly 6 percent drop in its share price.

In contrast, Grupa Kęty expects strong growth in the third quarter, projecting revenues of over 1.6 billion PLN and a net profit of 201 million PLN, driven largely by rising aluminum prices.

Regarding executive compensation, a report by Sedlak & Sedlak indicates that the average annual salary for board members of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell by 2.11 percent in 2025 to approximately 1.36 million PLN, marking the first decline in four years. While Polish executive pay has doubled in nominal terms since 2008, it remains significantly lower than the median for STOXX Europe 600 CEOs, which stood at nearly 15 million PLN in 2025.
