Polish local governments announce funding for students and sports
Local governments in Poland have announced new funding initiatives to support youth development and regional athletics.
In the Jerzmanowice-Przeginia municipality, 76,400 PLN has been allocated for prizes and scholarships. This funding targets primary and secondary school students who have demonstrated exceptional academic, educational, or sporting achievements. An awards gala is scheduled for August 27 at Chochołowy Dwór to recognize these students.
In the Podlaskie Voivodeship, the regional government has distributed nearly 4 million PLN to support physical culture and sports. The funding covers 45 entities performing 49 different tasks, including training and participation in regional and national leagues. Notable recipients include KS Dojlidy Białystok, which received 300,000 PLN, the Białystok Volleyball Academy with 150,000 PLN, and Lowlanders Białystok with 120,000 PLN.
