Polish local governments urged to apply for energy transformation competition
The Association of Polish Cities and the Miasto Foundation are conducting the 'Local Government in Energy Transformation' competition. The initiative aims to identify and promote best practices in local energy transitions, recognizing both achieved results and planned future actions by local governments, municipal companies, and community groups.
Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 16. This year's edition includes expanded prizes, such as a four-day study trip to Norway for three representatives from winning municipalities, sponsored by Termoenergi Poland and Termoenergi Norge AS. The trip will focus on EU taxonomy, green investments, and modern energy solutions.
Special awards are also available, including a recognition for energy transformation in the heating sector, sponsored by ORLEN Termika Rozproszona sp. z o. o.
