Polish metal bands Backbone and Shine release new music

The Polish metal scene sees new developments from two distinct acts. The Warsaw-based band Backbone has released ‘Dissolved in Atman’, the second single from their upcoming album ‘Ama Nesciri’. The music, which blends post, doom, and atmospheric metal, explores spiritual themes and the human condition through the lens of various philosophies and religions.

Simultaneously, the black/death metal project Shine, led by Tomasz Dobrzeniecki, has released its debut album ‘Wrathcult’. Released via Dark Descent Records and Selfmadegod Records, the album has received international media attention. The project marks a new chapter for Dobrzeniecki, who was previously a co-founder of the prominent band Hazael.
