Polish striker Dawid Kurminowski joins Greek club Kalamata FC

Dawid Kurminowski, the 27‑year‑old Polish forward, signed for Super League side Kalamata FC after his contract with Lechia Gdańsk was terminated following the club’s relegation from the Ekstraklasa. The termination clause allowed him to leave as a free agent, and he passed medical tests before being presented officially on 5 August. Kalamata announced the signing, describing the striker as a “killer” and highlighting his career tally of more than 120 professional goals, including a season as top scorer in the Slovak league with Žilina. The Greek club expects Kurminowski to add experience and finishing quality to its attack as it prepares for a return to Greece’s top division.
