Polish Ministry Allocates Over 11 Million Zł to New Tennis Facilities

The municipality of Lesko (south‑eastern Poland) announced a tender to rebuild its tennis complex, planning two new courts – one on brick‑dust surface and another with artificial grass – along with drainage, lighting, fencing and surrounding walkways. The demolition of the existing facilities and construction of the new complex must be bid by 24 July 2026.

In the western region of Wielkopolska, the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, led by Minister Jakub Rutnicki, granted more than 11 million zł to several projects under the "Tenisowe Orły" program. Approximately 3 million zł will fund a modern indoor tennis hall in Pobiedziska, featuring two world‑class courts, while additional sums support upgrades in Poznań, including a multifunctional hall at Golęcin and three new courts on Dobra Dębina. Overall, the ministry earmarked over 80 million zł for tennis infrastructure nationwide, aiming to revitalize more than 30 facilities and boost participation among children and youth.
