Polish motorcycle festivals draw families and riders to Jarocin and Piotrków

On 13 June the third SOWI Motorcycle Rally took place in the Jarocin region despite unsettled weather. Organized by the Jarocin Motorcycle Association “SOWA”, the event featured a parade of motorcycles along a circuit that included Wilkowyja, Annapol, Jarocin, Cielcza, Mieszków and Radlin, live concerts by rock groups DOMINAT, SPLIN and KASATOR, competition prizes and a historical lecture on major Zbigniew Ostroróg‑Gorzeński.

Later in the week a motor‑themed family picnic was held in Piotrków Trybunalski, co‑organized by the Automobilklub Piotrkowski and the Provincial Road Safety Centre (WORD). The gathering showcased vintage cars and motorcycles, offered practical safety training on a maneuvering course, and provided lectures on safe riding. Officials highlighted the educational aim, with the vice‑marshal of Łódź province, Piotr Wojtysiak, noting, “On two wheels the margin for error is extremely small; safety depends on respect and continuous skill improvement.”
