Polish MP calls for delegalization of political opponents in Sejm

During a recent session of the Sejm, Konrad Frysztak, a member of the Civic Coalition (KO), called for the delegalization of what he termed the ‘patoprawica’ (patho-right), accusing politicians from Konfederacja WiN, Konfederacja KP, and PiS of being traitors to Poland.

The parliamentary proceedings were marked by turbulence following the passage of the Digital Services Act (DSA). While the act implements EU regulations, critics argue that certain provisions could allow for political censorship of internet content under the guise of combating hate speech. The final decision regarding these regulations rests with the head of state, following previous vetoes of similar legislative versions.
