Polish municipal councils grant trust votes and absolutions for 2025 budgets

The Powiat Krośnieński council approved the 2025 financial report, noting a budget surplus of over 21 million zł and revenues exceeding 220 million zł. Expenditures reached 220.6 million zł, with more than 86 million zł invested primarily in road infrastructure and other public projects. The council gave a vote of confidence and absolution to the county board.

In the Gmina Bochnia, mayor Marek Bzdek received a vote of confidence (12 for, 7 against) and an absolution (13 for, 6 abstentions). The 2025 budget amounted to 132.07 million zł, of which 17.15 million zł funded road upgrades, educational and water‑sewage infrastructure, public transport, cultural and safety initiatives, daycare projects, and sports facilities. The administration also highlighted successful acquisition of external funding for local development.
