Polish municipalities acquire new emergency response equipment

Polish municipalities Ręczno and Lipowa have acquired new emergency response equipment through the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program for 2025–2026.

Gmina Ręczno purchased a CASE 580SV backhoe loader for nearly 500,000 PLN. The investment, funded partly by a state grant from the Łódź Voivode, is intended to assist firefighters, clear roads, and manage the aftermath of natural disasters such as floods or heavy snowfall.

Gmina Lipowa has invested in a 5,000-liter water tanker to ensure faster response to drinking water shortages. The vehicle, which meets safety standards for transporting potable water, has already been deployed to replenish water supplies in Poddzielce.
