Polish municipalities honor long-term marriage anniversaries

Local communities in Poland recently held celebrations to honor couples celebrating significant marriage anniversaries.

In the Rusiec municipality, 21 couples were recognized, including 16 pairs celebrating their Golden Jubilee (50 years), three celebrating 60 years, and two celebrating 65 years. The event included a thanksgiving mass followed by a celebration at the Municipal Cultural Center, where local officials, including Mayor Damian Szczytowski, honored the couples for their role in building the local community.

In Rudnik, seven couples were honored for their 50th wedding anniversaries. The ceremony, held at the Rudnik Municipal Office, included the presentation of Medals for Long-term Marriage awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. Officials such as Second Deputy Voivode of Silesia Michał Kopański and Mayor Piotr Rybka attended to present the awards and offer congratulations.
