Polish municipalities honor students and teachers

Various Polish municipalities have held ceremonies to recognize academic excellence and professional achievements in the education sector.

In Nowy Targ, councilman Grzegorz Luberda honored top-performing eighth-grade students for their final primary school exam results. This fifth annual initiative provided nine laureates from seven schools with commemorative diplomas and 500 PLN each. Antoni Wegner from Primary School No. 5 achieved the highest average score of 96.33%.

In the Słupca Commune, ten female teachers from various primary and preschool complexes were officially granted the rank of appointed teacher. The ceremony, attended by Mayor Bogdan Kukulski, included a formal oath-taking by the educators.

Similarly, in Kutno, Mayor Mariusz Sikora presented professional advancement certificates to 20 teachers. These appointments followed successful examinations conducted by a commission appointed by the city president.
