Polish municipalities implement new digital service applications
Local municipalities in Poland are advancing digital services for residents. Gmina Teresin has launched the AlertOnline mobile application, designed to provide real-time notifications regarding crisis situations, meteorological warnings, and local infrastructure updates, such as roadworks or water supply failures.
In Gmina Pogorzela, residents can now utilize the government ePłatności system via the mObywatel application. This integration, developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, allows citizens to pay property, agricultural, and forest taxes using BLIK or credit cards. The system aims to reduce the need for in-person visits and traditional bank transfers by providing instant payment confirmations and transaction history.
