Polish municipalities invest in LED street lighting upgrades

Municipalities in Poland are continuing efforts to modernize street lighting through LED technology investments.

In Jabłonna, the second stage of a major LED lighting project on Modlińska Street is underway. The contract, valued at 873,300 PLN, was awarded directly to Electrojac from Iława, the same firm that completed the first stage. This phase extends the lighting from the Municipal Office toward Warsaw and is expected to be completed within 180 days.

In Piła, a new agreement has been signed to replace 518 lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED units across approximately 60 locations, including various streets, squares, and roundabouts. The investment is valued at 897,000 PLN. This project follows previous modernization efforts in the city that have already seen the replacement of thousands of fixtures to improve public safety and energy efficiency.
