Polish municipalities launch multiple public procurement projects for roads and market square revitalisation
Local authorities in Poland have announced several public procurement procedures. On 14 July 2026, the municipality of Mariew published tenders for the design and construction of three sections of municipal roads: Kwiatowa (≈455 m), Wieruchowska (≈1,250 m) and Bolesława Chrobrego (≈760 m). The contracts will cover full project documentation, required permits and the construction work itself.
On 15 July 2026, the town and gmina of Buk issued a design‑and‑build tender for the revitalisation of Plac Przemysława. The project, funded with €16.35 million (≈14.3 million zł from EU funds and €2.04 million zł from the state budget), will include new paving, improved pedestrian routes, green infrastructure, a fountain, parking for electric vehicles and accessibility upgrades for people with disabilities. The selected contractor will prepare all technical documentation, obtain permits and carry out the construction.
Both initiatives are part of broader local development programmes and aim to improve transport and public spaces in their respective communities.
