Polish municipalities launch outdoor safety and nature education programs

In the Pomeranian village of Łubiana, fifteen children participated in the "Safe Vacation" project on 15 July. Organized by the municipal social assistance centre in Kościerzyna, the day-long walk to Lake Garczyn combined physical activity with lessons on water safety, road rules and responsible outdoor play.

Meanwhile, the Beskid‑region gmina of Ujsoły hosted intergenerational nature workshops. Children acted as wildlife detectives tracing beaver activity along the river, while seniors explored the local riparian ecosystem. The events are part of a broader environmental‑education initiative aimed at protecting and regenerating valuable natural areas in the Beskid mountains.
