Polish municipalities launch public consultations on urban planning
Local governments in Poland have initiated public consultation processes regarding urban planning and aesthetics.
In Krośnice, the Mayor has announced consultations for a local spatial management plan covering specific plots in the Bukowice area. The process includes an environmental impact forecast and will run from September 8 to October 6, 2026. Residents can participate through written comments, an open meeting on September 16, and consultation points on September 21 and 28.
In Pruszków, authorities have released a draft landscape resolution aimed at regulating the appearance of the city. The document proposes rules for small architecture, signs, advertising devices, and fences to ensure aesthetic harmony and order. Consultations are open from September 2 to September 30, 2026, featuring an open meeting on September 10 and a designer consultation session on September 15.
