Polish municipalities modernize public transport infrastructure

Various municipalities in Poland are undertaking infrastructure projects to modernize public transport stops. In Kamesznica, within the Milówka commune, work is underway to replace five bus shelters to improve passenger comfort and safety. Preparatory earthworks and foundation construction are currently in progress, with the project expected to be completed by late September or October.

In Wrocław, the city is implementing a broader program to modernize bus stops, focusing on durability and passenger convenience. Recent completions include upgrades at Plac Jana Pawła II and Aleja Kromera. Ongoing and upcoming works include the Brücknera stop, with expected completion by September 18, as well as planned improvements at the Górnicza and Działkowa stops. The city is transitioning from traditional cobblestone surfaces to more durable concrete technology to better withstand heavy bus traffic and reduce maintenance issues.
