Polish municipalities Opatów and Myszków achieve high economic rankings

Several Polish municipalities have achieved notable recognition in recent economic and investment rankings.

Opatów has seen a significant rise in the “Wspólnota” investment ranking, climbing from 256th place (2019–2021) to 24th place for the 2023–2025 period. This makes it the highest-ranked county town in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The ranking is based on average capital expenditures per inhabitant, which for Opatów stands at 1,986.61 PLN.

In a separate assessment, Myszków was awarded the “Brylant Polskiej Gospodarki 2025” title by the European Business Institute. The city ranked 174th in this competition, driven by the presence of at least ten companies with a market value exceeding 10 million PLN. Key contributors to Myszków’s economic standing include Sokpol Sp. z o. o. and Pureko Sp. z o. o. Nearby Zawiercie also performed well, securing 114th place in the same ranking.
