Polish municipalities plan sports funding for 2027

Local governments in Poland are establishing frameworks for sports funding for 2027. In Lędziny, the municipality has opened the application process for sports clubs to request financial support for tasks related to sports development. Applications must be submitted to the Resident Service Point by October 1, 2026.

In Nowy Targ, the Sports Commission unanimously supported a proposal to allocate 1.5 percent of the city's 2027 budget to grants for sports clubs and associations. This exceeds the 0.5 percent minimum suggested in the city's Sports Development Strategy for 2026–2036. While the exact amount depends on the final 2027 budget, estimates based on previous spending suggest the pool could range between approximately 3.5 million PLN and 5.2 million PLN. This proposal specifically targets club grants and does not include separate sports scholarships.
