Polish municipalities roll out fiber, road and park upgrades
The Gmina Stężyca council approved an expanded fiber‑optic network that will connect additional addresses by 31 March 2027, with construction overseen by Tadeusz Myszko & Fiber Solutions.
In the Gmina Jerzmanowa, residents of Jaczów will meet on 15 July to discuss a planned road expansion on Akacjowa and Słoneczna streets, reviewing designs and submitting comments.
Bełchatów has begun rebuilding Plac Narutowicza. The first phase involves removing old wooden platforms and benches, installing new granite paving, upgraded lighting and extensive new plantings. The project, costing nearly 670 000 zł, is slated for completion in mid‑September.
Katowice’s “Green Budget” programme launched tenders for three projects: planting 35 new trees and shrubs along Gliwicka Street, creating a sensory garden on Plac Miarki and building a chess pavilion near the Silesian Library. The contractor will design and construct the works within four months.
