Polish municipalities set property tax rates for 2027

Local councils in the Polish municipalities of Stryków and Żerków have finalized property tax rates for 2027.

In Stryków, most property tax rates will increase by 2.7 percent, following consumer price index indicators and recommendations from the Minister of Finance. Residential building taxes will rise by 2 PLN per square meter. However, the agricultural tax will remain at its current level, with officials lowering the rye purchase price used for calculations to mitigate the impact of rising production costs and wildlife damage on farmers.

In Żerków, the municipal council approved a 5 percent increase in property taxes to fund local investments and budgetary tasks. The tax for residential buildings will rise from 1.10 PLN to 1.15 PLN per square meter. The decision was supported by 13 council members.
