Polish municipalities upgrade emergency response equipment

Local government units in Poland are upgrading their emergency response capabilities through new equipment acquisitions.

In the Żółkiewka municipality, new resources including a Wielton agricultural trailer costing 150,000 PLN and two drinking water tanks with a capacity of over 2,000 liters each have been added to the municipal inventory. These purchases, funded by the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program for 2025-2026, are intended to assist during water network failures and other crisis situations.

In Wólka Sulejowska, the Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) has received new personal protective equipment and rescue tools. The upgrades include Nomex special clothing, radio telephones, specialized footwear, technical gloves, a motor pump, and rescue shears. This equipment was financed with support from the Wołomin County and the Jadów municipality to improve firefighter safety and operational efficiency during fires, accidents, and weather-related emergencies.
