Polish music scene updates: ELEINE and Lotta discuss new releases

Members of the band ELEINE, Madeleine Liljestam and Rikard Ekberg, have announced plans for their fifth album, which is scheduled for release in December. The band has opted to release the album independently, stating that they reached a point where previous management did not align with their goals. In an unconventional move, the band is embarking on a tour prior to the album's release, incorporating previously released singles into their live set.

Additionally, pop artist Lotta has released her second full-length album, ‘poKOIk’. The new material explores a sound that balances hyperpop with futuristic pop, while incorporating more guitar elements and influences from 2000s-era music. Lotta noted that while the release brought significant stress and anxiety, the album provides more space for traditional pop compared to her debut.
