Polish parishes appeal for cemetery waste segregation

Polish parishes are issuing appeals to parishioners regarding cemetery maintenance and waste management ahead of All Saints' Day. In Stara Kiszewa, St. Martin Parish reported that the cost of cemetery waste removal reached nearly 20,000 PLN last year. To manage these expenses, the parish is urging the faithful to adhere to strict waste segregation rules, particularly for organic waste.

Similar reminders have been issued by the Parish of the Assumption in Wietrzychowice and the municipality of Zebrzydowice. These authorities emphasize that items such as burnt candle inserts, glass and plastic lanterns, and artificial flowers must be placed in the correct containers to maintain order and control rising disposal costs.
