Polish parishes celebrate major anniversaries and consecrations
Two Polish parishes recently celebrated significant milestones through religious ceremonies.
In Domatków, Bishop Jan Wątroba presided over a liturgy marking the 40th anniversary of the parish. During the event, the Bishop performed the consecration of the Church of Divine Mercy and its altar. The ceremony included reflections on the history of the parish and the contributions of previous generations in building the sanctuary.
In Słupca, the parish of Blessed Michał Kozal celebrated its 30th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of its church's consecration. Archbishop Mieczysław Mokrzycki of Lviv led the thanksgiving Mass. The celebration included the presentation of a Saint John Paul II Medal to the community and honored the long-term pastoral work within the parish.
