Polish PGE Ekstraliga speedway clubs address season goals and record fan turnouts

Krono‑Plast Włókniarz Częstochowa president Jakub Michalski said the club’s aim is to stay in the PGE Ekstraliga, not to chase the championship. He emphasized the team’s financial stability and noted a coaching change, with Patrick Hansen replacing Mariusz Staszewski. The club hopes the play‑down round will secure its place for next season.

Unia Leszno, back in the top division, attracted more than 15,000 spectators at the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium, while other matches also saw high attendances. The league recorded a total of 445,001 viewers across 46 matches, averaging 9,673 fans per game. The strong turnout highlights growing interest in Polish speedway this season.
