Polish pilgrims travel to Italy for religious observances

Various religious pilgrimages are currently taking place involving Polish participants traveling to Italy. To commemorate the 300th anniversary of the canonization of St. Stanislaus Kostka, the Diocese of Płock has organized a walking pilgrimage from Vienna to Rome. The journey is divided into ten stages, involving diverse groups including students, priests, and religious sisters, with the intention of praying for new priestly and religious vocations.

In a separate event, a group of 49 pilgrims from the St. John Gualbert and St. Tekla parish in Poland traveled to Rome. The group included 36 current and former altar servers who participated in a general audience at the Vatican. The participants expressed significant emotional impact from the experience, with several individuals noting the opportunity to meet and shake hands with the Pope.
