Polish police arrest suspects after bus and taxi driver assaults

Polish police have detained suspects linked to two separate assaults on transport drivers. In Lubin, a 24‑year‑old man smashed a municipal bus window after a driver warned a passenger, also breaking a window in a private apartment and committing several thefts. Investigators estimate the damage at about 2,500 zł and say he faces up to five years in prison. In Slupsk, three Colombian men attacked a taxi driver who refused them entry with open beer bottles; the driver suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital. Police have arrested a 35‑year‑old Colombian and continue to search for the other two attackers.
