Polish police enhance safety in Gliwice and Zielona Góra

In Gliwice, officers of the Municipal Police conducted a "Safe Pedestrian" traffic‑safety operation, targeting driver‑pedestrian interactions. During the action 137 violations were recorded, including speeding near crosswalks, failure to yield to pedestrians, illegal parking on marked crossings, and a driver under the influence. Police also seized nine vehicle registrations for poor technical condition and detained one unlicensed driver.

In Zielona Góra, a third‑grade class from Public Primary School No 7 visited the city’s municipal police headquarters. The pupils toured patrol cars and equipment, learned about police duties, and received safety advice for the upcoming summer holidays. The visit aimed to foster positive relations between the community and law‑enforcement and to promote safe behaviour.
