Polish Police conduct community safety and prevention programs

Police departments in Poland are conducting community outreach and prevention programs targeting different age groups to enhance public safety.

In the Bukowiec municipality, officers from the Świecie District Police Headquarters organized an educational meeting for seniors. The session focused on identifying and responding to common fraud methods, including telephone and personal manipulation. Additionally, officers provided road safety advice for pedestrians and drivers, emphasizing the importance of visibility and distributing reflective gear to prevent accidents.

In Lipno, participants from the ‘Trampolina 4’ project, including children and caregivers, visited the Lipno District Police Headquarters. The visit included a tour of the facility, demonstrations of police equipment, and a canine training display. Officers conducted a prevention talk regarding road safety for cyclists and scooter users, highlighting the necessity of wearing reflectors.
