Polish police dismantle organized group behind 10 million PLN in thefts

Polish police have dismantled an organized criminal group responsible for thefts totaling approximately 10 million PLN. In a coordinated operation involving counter-terrorism units, railway security, and border guards, authorities arrested seven men aged 37 to 51 in July.

The group, which reportedly operated in the Silesian and Lesser Poland regions since 2023, targeted construction machinery, vehicles, power tools, and railway infrastructure components. One of the detainees has been identified by police as the group's leader. The investigation is ongoing.
