Polish police host multiple community and safety events in June 2026

During the last weeks of June 2026, various police initiatives took place across Poland. The regional union of police officers organised a two‑day trip for active and retired members in the Rzeszów area, featuring a scenic train ride, accommodation in Hadle Szklarskie and evening gatherings aimed at building camaraderie.

On June 29, the national Water Rescuers’ Day highlighted the role of lifeguards in safeguarding swimming venues and beaches, praising their physical and mental readiness.

In Białystok, officers from the Augustów precinct earned third place in the provincial “Patrol of the Year 2026” competition, receiving medals from regional officials.

The 20th edition of Moto Safety Day was held on June 27 in Polanica‑Zdrój, where Lower Silesian traffic police demonstrated road‑safety equipment, conducted traffic‑law quizzes, and staged a simulated road‑accident response.

On June 29, Łódź hosted the regional preliminaries for the “Patrol of the Year” contest, testing 46 officers from 22 units on legal knowledge, shooting skills and physical challenges, with finalists to compete nationwide.

In Bydgoszcz, police officers participated in a neighbourhood fair on Piaski, presenting safety information to children and promoting the “Summer Safety” campaign, including advice for water, mountain and road activities.
