Polish Police Hold Community Safety Picnic in Kraków and Blood‑Donation Drive in Zamość

In Kraków, police officers took part in the "Powitanie lata" (Welcome Summer) festivities at the Szarych Szeregów Sports Center. The event featured road‑safety talks, displays of police equipment and direct interaction with residents, including children, to build trust and promote public safety. Similar outreach occurred in the Stary Bieżanów neighborhood, where officers joined a local picnic to reinforce community ties.

In Zamość, the municipal police marked the 107th anniversary of the Polish Police by organizing a public blood‑donation campaign. A mobile blood‑bus was stationed in front of the police headquarters on July 24, inviting residents to donate blood for accident victims, surgical patients and those battling serious illnesses. The initiative emphasizes the police’s role in supporting health and humanitarian efforts alongside law‑enforcement duties.
