Polish Police hold regional eliminations for Community Officer of the Year 2026

Regional eliminations for the 16th National Community Police Officer of the Year 2026 competition have concluded in the Silesian and Mazovian voivodeships of Poland.

In Silesia, junior inspector Andrzej Mika from the Wodzisław Śląski District Police Station was named the best community officer. In the precinct manager category, Commissioner Mateusz Łabuś from the Myszków District Police Station took first place. The event also commemorated the 100th anniversary of the community officer position within the Polish Police.

In the Mazovian region, competition held in Radom saw Sub-commissioner Adam Grażulewicz from Ostrołęka recognized as one of the top precinct managers. Other winners in the precinct manager category included Jakub Tomaszewski and Sławomir Rulak from Płock. In the community officer category, winners included Sylwester Wyrzykowski, Łukasz Dybikowski, and Bartosz Podgórski. The Mazovian winners will advance to the national finals in Katowice.
