Polish police honored with promotions and medals in Puck County and Rybnik

On 16 July 2026, the Puck County Police held a ceremony at the Village Cultural Centre in Żelistrzew to mark Police Day. Officers from the Puck County Command received promotions, medals and other distinctions for their service during the busy summer tourist season on the Baltic coast. The event highlighted the increased workload for police during the influx of visitors and included remarks from County Commander Adam Nastały and local officials.

Later, a gathering of Rybnickie police took place at the Cultural‑Educational Centre in Czerwionka‑Leszczyny. The ceremony, attended by regional officials and municipal leaders, featured the reading of promotion orders for 88 officers across officer, NCO and rank‑and‑file categories. Additional awards were presented by city and county representatives, recognizing exemplary service throughout the year.
