Polish police intervene to save lives in Jarocin and Gorzów emergencies
Police officers from the Jarocin County precinct rescued a 23‑year‑old man experiencing a severe emotional crisis on 31 May. After a report from his mother, officers located the young man speeding near Lisew, stopped his vehicle in Wilkowice, and provided immediate medical assistance, after which he was taken to hospital.
In Gorzów Wielkopolski on the same day, a criminal‑division officer noticed a 75‑year‑old woman unconscious on the sidewalk. He performed CPR until emergency medical services arrived, enabling doctors to restore her circulation and transport her to hospital. Both incidents highlight the rapid response and first‑aid training of Polish police forces.
