Polish Police launch nationwide educational campaign for students
The Polish Police have initiated a nationwide information and educational campaign titled “Life is not a game. You only have one.” The initiative, organized by the Prevention Bureau of the Police Headquarters in collaboration with the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime, aims to increase awareness among students regarding online threats, peer violence, and social media risks.
The program focuses on teaching young people how to recognize dangerous signals, such as school attack threats or concerning social media posts, and how to react appropriately before incidents occur. The campaign specifically targets primary school students in grades VI through VIII, as well as secondary school students.
In related local efforts, such as at Primary School No. 1 in Lubin, workshops have been conducted to teach students crisis response protocols. These include the “4U” safety pillars: Watch out, Run, Hide, and Thwart an attack, while emphasizing trust in emergency services.
