Polish police locate missing 89-year-old woman and 49-year-old man within hours

In the Płońsk district, police received an emergency call about a 49‑year‑old man in crisis. Officers quickly identified his home, searched the surrounding area and the nearby river, finding him a few hundred metres away. He was transferred to specialised care after confirming he had sought help from a mental‑health support centre.

In Trzebnica county, a report of an 89‑year‑old woman’s disappearance prompted an immediate search by local police. Using radio communication and updated maps, patrols canvassed the neighbourhood and located the senior citizen within an hour, after which she was checked by the officers and returned to her family.
