Polish police perform emergency rescues in Piotrków Trybunalski and Szczecin

Police officers in Poland performed two separate emergency rescues involving immediate threats to life.

In Piotrków Trybunalski, patrol officers discovered a 20-year-old man lying on railway tracks with his head resting on a rail. As a train approached with warning signals sounding, officers rushed to pull the man to safety. The individual, who appeared heavily intoxicated and had difficulty maintaining balance, was unharmed and subsequently attended to by medical services.

In Szczecin, officers from the Road Traffic Department responded to an emergency call from a mother whose child was trapped inside a locked vehicle. Due to high temperatures and the dark color of the car, which caused the interior to heat up rapidly, the intervention was time-sensitive. The officers successfully gained access to the vehicle and released the child without injury.
