Polish police praised for empathy in Ostrołęka and Karpacz

In Ostrołęka on 3 July 2026, officers of the Traffic Police Division responded to a resident’s call about a woman who suddenly fainted. The officers quickly escorted the driver to the scene, where medical teams were already waiting, and helped secure the woman’s transport to hospital. The grateful family wrote a letter thanking the police commander and the officers for their swift, compassionate action.

In Karpacz, a criminal‑unit officer assisted a local resident facing a dangerous situation. The officer’s decisive and empathetic response resolved the threat and earned a written expression of appreciation from the resident. Both incidents highlight how Polish police are extending their duties beyond conventional law‑enforcement, fostering trust through personal concern for community members.
