Police Sergeant Rescues 14-Year-Old from Roof in Radomsko, Poland
On the evening of 2 July, police in Radomsko received an emergency call after a 14‑year‑old girl climbed onto the roof of a municipal building and was in emotional distress. Sergeant Grzegorz Urbański, along with a firefighter, quickly reached the scene. Using calm communication, the officers persuaded the teenager to step away from the edge and safely escorted her down.
After being brought to the ground, the girl was handed over to medical personnel for assessment. The incident highlighted the coordinated response of police, fire services and emergency medical teams, and underscored the importance of the 112 emergency number for rapid assistance in critical situations.
