Polish police seize more than 170 kg of synthetic drugs after busting two labs

Police from the Nysa County Criminal Police Department dismantled a home‑based laboratory producing amphetamine. Officers recovered over 14 kg of ready‑to‑sell amphetamine, three litres of a precursor that could yield at least another 15 kg, and approximately 40,000 zł in cash. Three men, aged 27, 36 and 38, were arrested, charged with illegal production and possession of large quantities of psychotropic substances and placed in three‑month preventive detention pending trial, facing up to 20 years in prison.

In a separate operation in Sokołow Podlaski County, detectives seized nearly 163 kg of the synthetic stimulant 3‑CMC (klofedron) and about 388 L of related intermediates. Four suspects – three men aged 42, 56 and 68, and a 48‑year‑old woman – were taken into custody, charged with large‑scale drug manufacturing and also placed in three‑month preventive detention. Both raids revealed sophisticated equipment and large‑scale production capacity, underscoring a coordinated effort to supply illegal synthetic drugs in Poland.
